 Job Description

A shared services role, the Advisor, Community & Partnerships is an experienced sport professional responsible for providing marketing, sponsorship and events support to both the Community and Partnerships Team. This person will be responsible for managing the day-to-day relationships with CTC’s partners, with a focus on proactive partner management. They will plan and execute activations that leverage available partner assets, develop client relations and budget management. The ideal candidate is one with strong sport and marketing acumen, project management and exceptional communication skills. Creativity, courage, attention to detail and a collaborative attitude are your pillars for success in this role.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with CTC’s sport partners in order to maximize ROI for CTC.
  • Assist in developing and executing plans and programs that meet business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional project teams to plan and implement partnership strategies
  • Support cross-functional projects, responsible for planning, implementation and reporting.
  • Participate in the development and execution of fundraising strategies across the
  • Dealer network in support of Jumpstart Charities, including the 2021 Dealer Convention
  • Develop the strategy for CTC’s 2021 Employees for Jumpstart Fundraising campaign and oversee all executional elements including target setting and reporting, stakeholder engagement and communication, budget tracking, etc.
  • Provide experience and best practice-based support and guidance to stakeholders for executing initiatives.
  • Understand rules & guidelines regarding access to assets and ensures banners are well informed.
  • Track measurements to ensure effectiveness of all partnerships and appropriate ROI.
  • Creative and strategic development including writing, editing and presentation development.
  • Support the tracking of annual partner budgets.

What you bring

  • Post-secondary education in Sports Management/Marketing/Sponsorship,
  • Marketing, Event Management.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in events, marketing & communications, sponsorship and/or sports marketing.
  • Passionate about sport from grassroots to high performance.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, prioritize and deliver programs and tactics on time to budget in an ambiguous, fast paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional team across multiple banners – in-person and remotely.
  • Collaborative team player who has experience building relationships across various groups and stakeholders.
  • Self-starter and ability to influence without authority.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work within a matrix organization.
  • Ability to work nights or weekends on occasion.
