The Washington Football team are looking for a “Senior Director – Integrated Marketing” to join its team and to lead integrated marketing planning around fan engagement activations and promotions. The person in this role is expected to serve as our internal and primary advocate for the fan. S/he will be responsible for developing and managing integrated, omni-channel marketing plans that help nurture long-term fan relationships, reduce churn, and improve engagement, monetization and lifetime value. This individual will work closely with Sales, Sponsorship and the Content organization, as well as the balance of the Marketing team, to identify and understand key fan segments, map and optimize the fan journey at every stage and delight and reward our fans. This role will be highly visible within and outside of the organization and s/he will need to have a passion for teaching and mentorship.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee, mentor, and develop the integrated marketing team.
  • Under the guidance of leadership, develop the overall annual marketing plan - objectives, strategies, and key initiatives - for the organization.
  • For assigned projects, manage the complete marketing process - from brief through to execution - in partnership with cross-functional partners to deliver best-in-class marketing campaigns and activations
  • Drive and execute marketing activations geared towards strategically growing fan engagement year-round, with a heavy focus on delivering season ticket and premium sales.
  • Manage and grow our marketing platforms (“Women of Washington” & “Salute”).
  • Establish and track key metrics to consistently analyze activation performance
  • Consistently educate internal and external partners about the fan, relevant insights, behavioral trends and associated business opportunities.
  • Collect, synthesize and share best practices from the sports, media, event and broad consumer marketing landscape

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in managing and executing large scale consumer campaigns
  • Experience driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through the implementation of digital and traditional media strategies
  • Experience in integrated campaign leadership with an understanding of communications and media planning
  • Experience in leading and working in matrix teams and organizations
  • Experience leading and working with media and creative agencies
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing cross-functional teams and defining operational success
  • Knowledge for consumers, with a demonstrated experience utilizing consumer research and data to drive actionable insights to inform marketing strategy and improve the consumer experience
  • Experience influencing effectively cross-functionally across all levels of management
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns at the same time, and working with many different internal and external teams to ensure we are launching our programs seamlessly, and to the highest
