Job Description
Job DescriptionThe Athletic is seeking a Senior Editor, Betting. This is a senior role contributing to comprehensive editorial oversight of our betting coverage, using data analytics to optimize performance and partnering with stakeholders across the editorial organization and business teams on a range of initiatives.
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- 4+ years of experience in digital sports journalism, including at least two years of direct editorial management
- A history of pristine editing and grammatical mastery
- Ability to turn around copy on deadline
- High-end knowledge of the sports betting and fantasy sports space, terminology, platforms and rules
- This position is based in the United States or Canada
