Job Description
Job Description- Recruit, hire, and manage Foundation staff
- Prepare and manage annual budget and execute sound financial practices, while meeting or exceeding annual contribution and fundraising goals
- Establish partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances to advance the Foundation mission
- Increase Foundation impact and visibility through synergistic partnerships with diverse organizations
- Develop relationships with business, philanthropic, academic, and government leaders; as well as a pipeline of prospects and solicit donors
- Work closely with the Corporate Partnership Department to create holistic partnerships that make an impact
- Collaborate with senior leadership in Community Relations, Business Development, Marketing, and Finance to develop and implement fundraising and programmatic philosophies and strategies
- Maintain official records to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Five years of management and relationship development experience in non-profit required
- Demonstrate an ability to drive diversified, scalable, and sustainable nonprofit fundraising programs
- Previously demonstrated record of fundraising
- Experience using Salesforce required
- Strong experience with strategic planning and translating strategies into concrete action plans
- Ability to balance strategy, execution, and accountability
- Strong understanding of the professional sports business, including the importance of working with the Corporate Partnership department preferred
- Outstanding verbal, writing, presentation, time management, and organizational skills
- Accomplished communication skills that facilitate simultaneous outreach to underserved organizations, potential donors, and decision makers
- Ability to travel as needed
- Must be available to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
