Job Description
Job DescriptionSoftball New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking the services of a full-time Technical Director for a 1-year term (with possibility of renewal). This position will report to the Executive Director. The selected candidate will take a lead role in the implementation of the Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) Plans from grassroots to high performance, as well as developmental and educational programs for coaches and athletes within the province. Along with leading the Provincial Team program, the Technical Director will participate (in conjunction with the Softball NB Coaching Coordinator) in the development process for coaches and course facilitators for the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). The candidate will work closely with the Executive Director and local associations to promote our key initiatives.
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- A bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Recreation or Education (or related field) and one (1) year of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Knowledge of the Long-Term Player Development Model and Canada Sport for Life programs
- Knowledge of computer programs such as Excel, Google Drive, Google Docs with the experience doing internet research, spreadsheets, presentations and publications
