Job Description
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets & revenue goals by securing local & national partners
- Identify emerging revenue streams and business opportunities for the club
- Develop overall sponsorship strategy and go-to-market approach for the team
- Maintain a constant strong pipeline of prospects while leading reporting and forecasting activity for management & ownership
- Partner with various internal departments including Marketing, Digital/Social, Content & Production, Special Events, etc. in order to create and deliver impactful marketing solutions to corporate partners
- Craft and continually hone the Titans marketplace narrative, articulating the franchise’s unique value proposition it offers to prospective clients
- Lead or assist in closing partner negotiations
- Help to create and deliver polished, compelling presentations to prospective partners
- Manage overall activities and establish accountability for the Corporate Partnerships new business development team
Qualifications Required
- High-level sales experience with top-tier sports properties (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, NASCAR, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of studies
- 10+ years of sales experience with at least 3 years of experience leading a team
- Experience in pitching partnership concepts to senior executives from marketing/media agencies and premium brand clients
- Strong knowledge of the sponsorship/media landscape including industry trends, key players and terminology
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creation of convincing and strategic sales approaches, proposals, documentations and presentations
- Advanced negotiating skills
