The Tulsa Drillers are seeking a full-time, seasonal Assistant Manager of Food and Beverage to assist the management team in the overall food service operations of ONEOK field in Tulsa, OK.  
 
The Drillers are the Double-A Affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Drillers drew 374,501 fans to ONEOK Field in 2019, averaging 5,507 fans per game.  The Drillers were named Bob Freitas Double-A Organization of the Year in 2019, becoming the first minor league baseball team EVER to win this award four times. In addition, the Drillers were awarded the Texas League Organization of the Year three times in the last six years.
 
In addition to the baseball club, ONEOK Field is home to FC Tulsa, a USL Championship soccer club. FC Tulsa operates separately from the Drillers, but Tulsa has a long and storied history in American soccer. 
 
The Assistant Manager will need to display tremendous passion for the sports industry, tireless worth ethic & a strong desire to grow. Our organization is 100% committed to finding individuals that are active learners and have an internal drive for constant development & new idea generation.
 
The Assistant Manager must possess strong management qualities. This position directs 100+ hourly employees and non-profit groups.  This position is integral to the overall morale of the stadium, the Assistant Manager must be able to execute all these duties while maintaining a great attitude towards employees and a smile for each guest.   

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Experience managing food service operation is helpful but not required, experience in a sports or stadium venue a major plus
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Financial management skills including proficiency with Excel, Word, QuickBooks, POS management and Outlook is helpful but willing to train the right person
  • Ability to effectively manage a team and large seasonal workforce with a strong focus on morale and ongoing employee education.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends based on the event schedule
