  • Recommend and implement operating tactics, goals, and strategies to maximize revenue and achieve organizational objectives while controlling expenses
  • Lead effort in analyzing and building future pricing, budget, and forecasting models for all business units (Miami Dolphins, Miami Open, HRS Events, etc.)
  • Establish revenue goals and objectives in alignment with the department’s business plan
  • Collect and analyze current market and economic indicators that may impact organizational goals
  • Create pricing models for Dolphins and non-Dolphins season ticket, group, and individual sales
  • Analyze primary and secondary market sales trends and recommend price changes accordingly
  • Collaborate with IT to build reporting dashboards and manage roadmap of new report requests and enhancements
  • Lead Analyst(s) in their development of PowerBI reports, predictive models, and desktop analyses as well as professional development
  • Lead CRM team, including CRM manager and CRM Coordinators, in their development of campaigns for sales and service as well as professional development
  • Oversee email marketing segments, including all communications from Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium entities for customer journeys
  • Forecast and predict customer demand including renewal season tickets, new season tickets, groups, individual tickets, and suites for all business units
  • Develop and implement customer acquisition and retention strategies
  • Create and maintain retention risk probability models for member accounts
  • Collaborate with IT in development of data model and structure including bringing in new data sources for analysis
  • Serve as an information resource for Ticket Operations and Ticket Sales on historical data, ticket forecasting, and pricing models
  • Nurture relationship with NFL data team to ensure the Miami Dolphins are league leading in usage of data and benchmarking against league performance thresholds
  • Collaborate effectively with all departments to establish reliable and meaningful reporting standards while providing quantitative and logical support as needed
  • Design and deliver clear and concise presentations for senior leadership involving complex and thorough data analysis
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree required — Analytics, Statistics, Math, Economics, or Business Administration with emphasis in one of the previously listed disciplines
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years experience in Data and/or Analytics
  • 2+ years experience leading a technical team
  • 2+ years experience presenting to and working with executive leadership
  • Strong knowledge of regression analysis, data science, etc. and the ability to express complex concepts in simple terms
  • Experience managing multiple projects and prioritizing for impact and time-sensitivity
  • Communicates well and works effectively across disciplines (sales, marketing, IT, finance, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Excel (complex spreadsheet models, run pivots, v-lookups, etc.)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (preferably Power BI)
  • Experience with statistical software packages (R, SAS, SPSS)
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and drive to improve
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
