Essential Functions:
We are seeking an experienced Replay Operator to work at Regions Field for the 2021 Barons season. As a Replay Operator, you will operate our instant replay system for in-stadium and streaming broadcasts. The ideal candidate has a working knowledge of video production and has extensive knowledge of the game of baseball and a passion for it!
* Must have a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays*
Responsibilities:
- Excellent customer service while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a high paced environment
- Ability to maintain a neat, clean & professional appearance
Duties:
- Record and playback specific isolated cameras
- Takes direction from the Technical Director and Production Manager to be ready for every situational replay possible as requested by production team
- Good knowledge of replay technology/equipment
- Learn MiLB Replay rules and restrictions
- Export game highlights after the end of the game and provide to Marketing & Promotion Manager.
- Operate our instant replay system for in-stadium broadcasts at Regions Field
- Complete all other tasks as assigned by management
- Must be comfortable to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Keep a professional demeanor with the ability to interact with fans, staff members, players, coaches and front-office employees
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Experience working in a Control Room for live sporting events; preferred
- Experience with replay systems; preferred
- Experience with NewTek 3Play replay System; preferred
- Must have a general knowledge of baseball
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be flexible and capable of handling multiple assignments
- Must work well under pressure
General Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for up to 5+ hours during a game
- Ability to work long hours, weekends & holidays
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including but not limited to rain and heat
- Ability to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, food quality and cleanliness
