Job Description
Job DescriptionSports are critical to ensuring our military members’ physical and mental wellness. As a Sports Coordinator, your competencies will be used towards the planning and the coordination of the operations and delivery of sports programs in your location. This includes both intramural sports and competitive representative sports teams that compete nationally and internationally in such sports as hockey, volleyball, soccer, rugby, running, swimming, triathlon and basketball. On a daily basis, you will be involved in the organization, coaching, and officiating of sports, clinics and training camps. You will also use your expertise to monitor, evaluate and recommend improvements to the sports programs.
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- College diploma or certificate in Sports Administration, Recreation Management or a related field AND some years of experience in sports and recreation administration or a related field
- Successful completion of the Coaching Association of Canada- Multi-Sports modules requirement set by the Canadian Armed Forces Sports Office (HQ), by the end of probation period.
- Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
