Job Description
- Execute pre-tournament responsibilities, such as golf course marking, tee and hole location selection, equipment set-up and developing operational plans
- Administer on-site responsibilities, such as player registration, rules officiating, live scoring and volunteer management
- Effectively communicate with host professional staff and PGA professionals
- Manage tournament equipment through inventory and maintenance
- Provide in-office support of the professional tournament program and the Championships department
- Receive training in the Rules of Golf and BlueGolf tournament software
Qualifications Required
- Has or is pursuing a college degree (third or fourth-year students preferred)
- Has automobile access with willingness and ability to travel within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex
- Has existing insurance (through school or parents)
- Exhibits ability to work and communicate effectively in a team-based environment
- General computer literacy (i.e. Microsoft Office, Smartphone Apps)
