Job Responsibilities:
  • In conjunction with the Marketing Content manager, oversee day-to-day management of Nashville Predators-branded social media accounts while using the defined voice and tone of each account, including YouTube, Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
  • Provide live social coverage on game days and other Predators events.
  • Research innovative ways to grow and engage the Predators’ social media audiences.
  • Monitor, track and respond to Predators-related activity across all social platforms.
  • Utilize social media analytics tools to produce reports that evaluate the performance and effectiveness of social media campaigns.
  • Oversee and manage livestreams of press conferences and other live events.
  • Responsible for the execution of social media efforts for the organization, including sponsorship and ticket sales promotions and fan development.
  • Serve as a point-person and resource for other departments within the organization to help execute social media goals.
  • Coordinate  community management on all Nashville Predators owned social media accounts.
  • Lead Nashville Predators content creation for mascot, foundation, and additional social media accounts.
  • Responsible for posting sponsorship campaigns on social media and ensuring contractual obligations are met regarding correct handles, number of posts and metrics.
  • Cover Nashville Predators events, including home and road games, Nashville Predators Foundation initiatives, and other team events, with the goal to produce captivating content that captures the attention of followers and casual fans
  • Lead effort in tagging all social posts and utilizing the reporting tools to make analytical decisions on content campaigns.
  • Lead project management for new social media requests and content ideas.
  • Responsible for capturing and editing photos using a DSLR camera or smartphone
  • Understands and monitors compliance with intellectual property laws, regulations, and company policies on social media accounts.

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • 1-3 years of experience in social media
  • College degree in Business Administration required, emphasis on Marketing preferred
  • Understanding of major social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Reddit, TikTok), and the ability to maximize the Nashville Predators organization potential on each
  • Strong visual eye regarding the creation and curation of graphics, photography, and video for social. Excellent layout, color theory, and typography skills
  • Initiative-taking and successful at working with tight deadlines, including the ability to operate at the speed of social media and 24-hour news cycle with understanding of pop culture and internet subcultures
  • Excellent writing skills with an eye for grammar, spelling, and thoughtful story creation
  • Ability to collaborate and give critical feedback on content, design, layout, and story
  • Willingness and ability to work game nights, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Graphic design experience - Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Lightroom
  • Ability to speak Spanish is preferred
  • Strong ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time management skills and knowledge of intellectual property laws, regulations, and best practices a plus.
