The Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, and Footprint Center are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our team as the new Project and Reporting Administrator within our Payroll Services department. This position is the key player in custom reporting within HRIS/Payroll systems and project administration for the department. The role supports the reporting needs of the team and other organizational departments through compilation and validation of employee data in support of compliance, process improvement, and new initiatives. This position is responsible for the successful development and execution on the full project life cycle for projects within Payroll Services under the direction of the VP, Payroll Services.

What You Will Do:

  • Reporting
    • Create and maintain custom reports in HRIS/Payroll system (UKG)
    • Compilation and validation of data required for internal and external reporting
    • Audits and validates data to maintain data integrity to ensure adherence to system controls and company policies
    • Develops reports and data extracts from multiple systems
    • Assist with report development and analysis of compensation data in support of internal and external compliance audits
  • Project Administration
    • Key player in assisting with new and recurring HRIS/Payroll systems projects
    • Communicate with Key Stakeholders and Team Members to identify and define project objectives, requirements, scope, and timelines
    • Active in development, review, testing, implementation and documentation of process enhancements and new initiatives
    • Builds, activates, and maintains functionality within the Payroll systems in support of process enhancements and new projects
    • Assists with creation of key data metrics and deployment of user dashboards
    • Develops, creates, and maintains user documentation and guides
    • Develop and execute training program and materials for process enhancements and new project initiatives, as applicable

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Combination of minimum 3 years building custom reports and/or experience working on project teams
  • Experience in Payroll, Accounting or Human Resources is preferred
  • HRIS, Payroll and/or Work Management system knowledge is preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • UKG (formerly UltiPro) and/or ABIMM experience a plus
