 Job Description

The Quincy Gems are a collegiate summer league baseball team located in Quincy, IL, and a founding member of the Prospect League. The Gems will play their 27th season at historic QU Stadium in 2023. We are looking for the next industry superstars to join us for the Summer 2023 season.

What you'll be doing:
  • Assisting the Food and Beverage Manager in concession stands and bar area with inventory, food waste control and food quality control
  • Serving as the liaison between our home office and the stadium with regards to food and beverage
  • Planning food specials and working with management to create exciting dining opportunities for fans
  • Other tasks, as assigned

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of food safety preferred, but not required
  • Food service experience preferred, but not required
  • Customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Good time management and multi-tasking abilities
  • First Aid experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions (rain, high temperatures/heat, etc.).
  • Must be able to perform work requiring extended periods of walking and standing
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
