The Dodgers are part of Diamond Baseball Holdings, a group that owns several Minor League Baseball teams. Baseball teams owned by Diamond Baseball Holdings include affiliates of the most iconic franchises in Major League Baseball, including the Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees, and San Francisco Giants.
On the field, the OKC Dodgers are the beneficiaries of one of the deepest organizations in all of baseball and have been affiliated with the 2020 World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers since 2015. As a city, Oklahoma City continues to grow, ranking as the sixth-fastest growing city among the largest 25 cities in the country. To sum it all up: we’re a successful team with an iconic brand, a growing fanbase, and a beautiful ballpark, and we’re located in a city on the rise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal staff
  • Help build and create pricing and proposals of rental spaces for various events
  • Create event timeline for events
  • Fulfill catering orders and coordinate with Professional Sports Catering (PSC), our on-site food & beverage provider
  • Coordinate pre-event walk through with Director of Special Events and vendors/clients when necessary
  • Assist with event preparation and tear down
  • Coordinate on site venue environment including signage, displays, vendor & guest check in processes
  • Represent the Oklahoma City Dodgers at various promotional events
  • Manage events and address potential problems that may arise
  • Conduct post-event review with Director of Special Events
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events
  • Represent yourself in a manner that is in line with the core values of the organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Special Events

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Must be organized and possess excellent communication skills
  • A self-starter who thrives in a team environment
  • Able to have a flexible schedule and assist with last-minute event requests
  • Interest in learning event planning, management, and execution
  • MS Office proficient
  • Adobe Cloud experience preferred, but not required
