 Job Description

The Maryland SoccerPlex is currently seeking an enthusiastic, positive, hard- working, self- starter to join the team as an Office Administrator.  This individual should be motivated, open minded and environmentally conscience. As a member of the SoccerPlex crew, this individual is responsible front line customer service at the front desk as well as performing office administrative tasks and duties.  The Office Administrator will assist other departments on various projects as needed.  The Office Administrator must be fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Customer Service:

  • Front line customer service at the front desk of the Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse.
  • Assisting customer with questions about programs and events occurring at the facility
  • Answering incoming calls, answer questions accordingly, and direct to specific personnel as needed
  • Use Point of Sale system to process payments for merchandise, food and beverage, programs, and services
  • Other duties as assigned
Administration
  • Assist Finance Manager with general bookkeeping
  • Maintain Facility Scheduling Board
  • Provide basic data entry
  • File physical documents and organize online file server
  • Create forms, maps, flyers, and informational document
  • Assist various departments with projects
  • Maintain and order inventory of office supplies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English
  • Basic knowledge about youth sports and particularly the soccer community in the United States
  • Superior oral and written communications skills
  • Effective organizational skills for managing multiple tasks
  • Working knowledge about Microsoft Office Suite, VoIP Phone Systems, and operations of security alarms and cameras
Preferred Skills and Qualities
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Positive attitude and personality
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, self-starter, and highly motivated
  • Knowledge of general maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing a plus
