 Job Description

The Manager of People and Total Rewards will be responsible for leading HR operations, solutions, Climate Pledge Arena full and part-time employees. This position will report to the Vice President of People and Culture and will work closely with the Senior Director of Human Resources to support Climate Pledge Arena employee training and engagement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and build Climate Pledge Arena’s Employee Total Rewards, including but not limited to: employee benefits, compensation, and employee perks
  • Co-lead Climate Pledge Arena yearly company goals: tracking, communication, payout
  • Develop and drive Employee Wellness Program
  • Assist with all COVID tracing for fulltime and parttime employees
  • Assist in driving diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and mission across Climate Pledge Arena part time and full time employees
  • Support current and future HRIS integrations, building, testing, and rollout
  • Partner with Director of People and Culture to implement consistent policies and procedures
  • Provide HR support and coaching
  • Collaborate with VP, Employee and Guest Experience to implement and support a Culture training program for the facility
  • Support with employee relation opportunities, including but not limited to coaching, disciplinary tracking, investigations, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism throughout the process while ensuring consistency with broader HR strategy and approach
  • Maintain employee records ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through continuous audit and review
  • Create and manage internal HR forms, files, documents, and compliance requirements
  • Support an inclusive and engaging work culture for all employees, program volunteers and participants

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • 5+ years proven Human Resources experience
  • Proven ability to support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives within an organization
  • Prior labor relations experience
  • Staff and leadership management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A high degree of personal integrity and consistently puts the interests of the organization first
  • Must be a fierce communicator and cross-organizational collaborator in a start-up environment
