During the off season, The Corporate Partnerships Manager will have a strong emphasis on generating new sponsorship revenue. This will be done through phone calls, emails, networking events, and meetings. The individual in this position will participate in Power Hour Phone Calls with the sales team throughout the day with the main target being sponsorship sales. Leading up to the season, the Corporate Partnership Manager will also be responsible for activating our partnership elements. This includes but is not limited to scheduling signage installation, organizing sponsor logos and graphics, generating sponsorship PA announcements and activating all sponsored in-game promotions. Each day will also consist of servicing current partners.
What You Will Do:
  • Generate new sponsorship revenue - this will be done by first prospecting, then making the initial phone calls, followed by meetings, proposal creations, and finalizing the deal
  • Ensure that all sponsorship elements are completed and activated as described in the contracts
  • Complete all necessary Corporate Sales Reports in a timely manner
  • Develop end of the season Proof of Performance Packages for all Corporate Partners
  • Fulfill personal sales efforts gauged on weekly, monthly, and yearly terms
  • Contribute to the team growth in season ticket, partial season ticket and group ticket revenue
  • Creatively develop new ways to boost attendance and revenue
  • Assist in the Marketing department to increase exposure and brand awareness of The Stockton Ports
  • Other duties as necessary

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • An energetic and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to take initiative
  • 1 + year(s) of sales experience, ideally in sponsorship sales
  • Creative ability used to develop new partnership opportunities
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule (evenings and weekends)
