Are you an upbeat and dedicated individual with a desire to work in the area of professional sports? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic teammate to work as a part-time events and entertainment associate during our 2022-23 G League season! As an associate, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of NBA G League entertainment for Oklahoma City Blue home games. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment and ability to perform under tight schedules. This is an excellent opportunity that allows you to become familiar with many aspects of working in the sports industry!
In this role you will:
  • Contribute to the planning, coordinating, and implementing all game presentation elements
  • Assist in the execution and random selection of contests and promotions on the concourse and during the designated timeouts/quarter breaks
  • Assist with the develop of programming and scripting for all in game entertainment including video-board content, on/off court recognitions, halftime shows, sponsor activations, in-game promotions and contests, and other entertainment elements
  • Assist in the implementation all group sales assets (prime-time series, high-five kids, team and sound of the night, etc.)
  • Unload and distribute premium item giveaways at the Paycom Center
  • Prepare all props, prizes and additional items used for game presentation purposes each game
  • Set up and break down of all Blue signage as well as concourse booths and staff/fan interactive stations
  • Various administrations duties including data entry, preparing game day files, copying, filing, and maintaining job lists as needed
  • Participate in the execution of additional non-game events as needed

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Ability to simultaneously handle numerous tasks
  • Must be available to work all 24 Blue regular season home games and continue in the post-season as needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Course credit is negotiable if requested
