  • Collaborate and build strong working relationships with hiring managers to understand their individual hiring needs
  • Proactively coordinate with hiring managers to optimize the recruiting process across a variety of different departments in order to meet staffing goals and provide the best possible candidate experience
  • Assist with posting jobs on internal and external job boards as well as researching and implementing new ways to advertise those positions
  • Lead the recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing candidates, scheduling and attending interviews, extending offers to candidates, and providing ongoing candidate communication
  • Adapt quickly to changing hiring priorities and formulate hiring plans to help fill new roles
  • Brainstorm and implement creative recruiting and sourcing techniques
  • Use our applicant tracking system to maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data and proper disposition of candidates
  • Develop relationships with local hiring organizations, colleges, workforce services, community outreach programs, as well as other organizations and platforms that can be used to source candidates
  • Attend local job fairs and plan hiring events which includes campus recruitment
  • Help create and implement a long-term recruitment strategy
  • Ensure that P&C efforts continually work to build and support a culture of employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion
  • Stay current on HR trends and employment laws by attending seminars, reading professional publications, growing your network, and participating in professional associations

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • 2+ years of recruiting/HR experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in computer software applications such as Google Suite and Microsoft Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
