Job DescriptionThe Communications Intern is responsible to assist in driving awareness to USA Football initiatives and programming through a variety of content and communications tactics. This position is remote.
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft and edit a diverse range of written and verbal messages to various audiences
- Assist in creation of publicity plans
- Interview USA Football constituents and advocates for internal and external editorial
- Research news articles relevant to USA Football for internal distribution
- Research and assemble targeted media lists to earn coverage for key programs and initiatives
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Published writing experience and copy-editing skills
- Familiarity with leveraging social media platforms
- Experience in sports media or sports communications (football experience a plus)
- Able to balance short- and long-term projects
- Transparent and clear communicator
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic
