TheBirmingham Squadron are seeking a motivated relationship-builder to join our team as the Manager of Ticket Sales, Service, and Operations. The manager will be responsible for achieving budgeted ticket sales, group sales goals, and ensuring the sales team is providing exceptional customer service at all times. Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, leading and developing a sales team, and is an outstanding team player who has a passion for sports and The Birmingham Squadron.This is a full-time position based in Birmingham, Alabama.


  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans with the goal of maximizing ticket sales and group sales revenue
  • Develop and implement service strategies and plans to maximize the retention and sell through of existing clients
  • Manage, train and develop a team of sales account executives; including setting and reviewing sales targets, mentoring, and directing daily activities
  • Maintain accountability in achieving sales goals on an annual basis
  • Assist the General Manager with the creation, planning, communication, and implementation of special programs, promotions, and projects as it relates to ticket sales and group ticket business line
  • Assist with developing and maintaining sales budgets
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports
  • Oversee ticketing operations and building events in Archtics
  • Attend team and community events to aid in maximizing sales and service opportunities
  • Assist with customer resolutions and provide exception customer service at all times

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a sales team or program, preferably in sports or entertainment
  • Ability to motivate, train, and develop a sales team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience with Microsoft CRM and Ticketmaster Archtics is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as deemed by the G-League schedule
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment with all levels in the organization
