Job Description
The Digital Video Producer/Editor will sit on the Digital team and work directly with the Sr. Director of Digital Innovation & Communications on creating content for TrackTown owned channels to tell the stories surrounding the Eugene running community and TrackTown’s portfolio of events. This role collaborates with the Social Media Manager, Digital Coordinator, and Director of Brand Marketing on ideation and execution. This position will also work directly with both local and remote contracted professionals to fulfill assignments, as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Shoot, edit, and produce multi-platform, year-round video content primarily for TrackTown owned channels, including the Prefontaine Classic
- Contribute to all phases of production, including ideation, scripting, planning, lighting, sound, recording, editing, and producing
- Work independently, with contracted professionals, and with the Digital and Brand teams on relevant phases of projects
- Maintain and execute on a production schedule
- Organize and log assets in the media library
- Stay up to date on current video production techniques
- Collaborate with team members and contracted third parties to create and execute ideas that elevate the TrackTown brand through visual storytelling
Qualifications Required
- Self starter with the ability to lead projects, maintain project timelines, and deliver on schedule
- Comfortable working with and providing direction to athletes
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work in a fast, live events environment
- Collaborative nature
- Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, including coverage of all TrackTown events as required
