Job Description

  • Website updates & maintenance, including optimizing site and selecting WordPress plugins
  • Writing of press releases and development of story ideas
  • Photography responsibilities as needed
  • Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Communications & Operations, execute various requests for partners such as print materials
  • Support the development and implementation of corporate communications strategies as put forward by the Senior Manager, Communications & Operations
  • Respond to media requests and organize media shoots with staff

2. SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

  • Overseeing CSI Pacific’s social media sites
  • Executing social media strategy for CSI Pacific
  • Creation of graphics for social media
  • Research and plans based on latest trends in social media
  • Weekly collection of social media metrics to find ways to improve engagement

3. INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS

  • Assist in management of and internal adherence to CSI Pacific brand and all branding guidelines
  • Manage corporate templates (letterhead, business cards, PPTs, etc.)
  • Photography responsibilities as needed
  • Work in collaboration with CSI staff on clothing and branding guidelines
  • Assist staff with formatting of files to ensure they maintain CSI Pacific’s brand guidelines

Qualifications Required

  • Experience in strategic communications, brand management, social media, internal communications and partner/client relations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, with media relations, public relations and social media experience
  • Fluency in Windows operating systems; competency with current communications technology and Microsoft Office suite (including word processing, spreadsheets, database, and PowerPoint presentations)
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative suite and WordPress
  • Corporate social media management experience
  • Creative thinker who will bring fun, innovative ideas and an understanding of how to use different communications approaches to engage different audiences
  • Good team building skills and the ability to be flexible and adjust to changing priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of independence and initiative
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
