Job Description
Interns will support specific departments throughout the season. The position will include event day duties and some non-game day events as well. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with the ability to work in a team environment, have an eagerness to learn, and possess the flexibility to adapt to what each day brings.
This position starts in mid/late May and lasts through mid-August.
Reports to: Creative Media Director
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily design duties that cover a variety of elements such as, but not limited to:
o Rox Report (Gameday program)
o Social media graphics (starting lineup, final score, player of game, etc…)
o Various print designs (Poster schedule, player cards, promotional items, etc…)
o Mock-Up designs for Rox partners - Maintain a cohesive look and feel to your work to ensure that the Rox brand is represented consistently
- Assist with the Creative Media Director and other media interns on creating content for social media
- Work closely with Rox front office to make sure all needs are met for each corporate partner and group leader
- Running the Rox video board during games and making content for the board
Qualifications Required
- Ability to work under a deadline
- Self-motivated
- Detailed oriented and very organized
- Minimum one year of experience in graphic design
- Graphic design efficiency (Photoshop, InDesign)
- Computer knowledge
- Must be available for all Rox home games and have ability to work extended hours including weeknights and weekends
