 Job Description

The Charleston Battery is looking for passionately driven undergraduate or graduate student to join our Stadium and Events Operations team for the 2023 Season. This individual will be responsible for assisting our Stadium and Events team in maintaining our stadium, managing game-day staff, and the execution of events. This is an in-person, seasonal position that can start as early as March and end as late as October.
Responsibilities: 
  • Assisting on events and match days with the following:
    • Assist Stadium Operations team to ensure use of best practices in operation of stadium and providing services in accordance with company policy and operating standards
    • Assist all departments with set-up and break-down of respective areas
    • Assist with pre-match and halftime ceremonies to assure the match starts and resumes at the designated times
    • Set-up and breakdown of parking lots; running them on match days
    • Work with match day vendors and sponsor activation groups
    • Maintaining a relationship with gameday staff
    • Assure compliance with the match timelines and match day information
  • Assist in outreach and execution of non-soccer events

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to take initiative
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, etc.)
  • Detail oriented and time management skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs
