Job Description
- Work directly with Skratch content team to create and develop viable sponsorship opportunities for prospective clients
- Work with respective sales leads on RFPs, including the creative ideation necessary to combine Skratch content and assets into a program that delivers against client objectives
- Manage the development, deployment and continual improvement of sales materials for use by internal and external sales team as well as current and potential advertising partners including, but not limited to: general presentations (GP’s), proposals, and campaign recaps
- Participate in key business meetings with PGA TOUR departments and clients
- Work directly with Skratch and PGA TOUR sales teams as well as National Sales Director, Skratch to meet/exceed annual revenue targets
- Coordinate on the alignment and approvals of media campaigns with cross-functional teams including sales, editorial, analytics, digital content, PGA TOUR Entertainment, technology, legal and finance
- Keep up with relevant social media news, updates, tools, platforms, and best practices
- Stay knowledgeable about latest golf product and brand launches, as well as on-camera talent in golf and broader sports media
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Journalism, Media or Communications preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in a similar marketing or sales development role at a publisher, media company or digital or experiential agency
- Proactive, positive and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills – you must be able to efficiently and aesthetically articulate a marketing program and program recap in presentation form to external clients
- Professional and courteous to colleagues and with clients
- A critical thinker with strong analytical skills
- A self-motivator who strives to improve and innovate on the sales offering
- Passionate about social media with a deep understanding of the ecosystem on Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter platforms
- Creative mind that can contribute concepts and brand integration ideas for custom content
- Comfortable in a fast paced, high-energy environment working with cross-functional teams
- Golf playing experience a plus; passion for golf and deep understanding of golf media landscape is a must
- Proficiency in PowerPoint is a must; other design program, such as Adobe Suite, experience is a plus
