This position is a paid hourly position for contracted for the 2023 season, covering the Dunedin Blue Jays Minor League Season. Responsibilities will include design of creative content and manage the overall social media presence, content, and strategy. The role of Graphic and Social Media Coordinator will report to the Marketing & Operations Specialist.


  • Design graphic content that is both original and in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications Specialist to best portray the Dunedin Blue Jays brand
  • Post video clips, compilation videos and other static post content to social media utilizing appropriate post text, hashtags and mentions across all social media platforms
  • Monitor social conversation for Customer Service questions and issues and work with Communications and Customer Service teams to resolve as needed
  • Tag posts and conversation content to assist in reporting metrics
  • Manage and organize user highlight submission database to track all user-generated content
  • Provide input on overarching social media and content calendar, integrated with text/email content strategy, and paid social promotions
  • Assist in developing strategies to grow social media following and positive engagement
  • Assist Marketing & Communications coordinator on the updating of the web presence (content and visitor drive)
  • Collaborate with teams to develop original content series, editorial plans, and internal processes to further connect our brand with our fans across all social channels
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Jays Shop, Ticketing, Community Engagement, and more
  • Build brand awareness and drive engagement through content that drives both awareness and attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite: Office 365, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • 2-4 years Social Media management experience
  • Graphic Design experience
  • Advanced-level familiarity and proven track record with managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter
  • Required proficiency in video mobile and desktop editing tools (QuickTime, Final Cut Pro, After Effects), Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite
  • Familiarity with content publishing tools
  • Ability to think creatively and innovate, with attention to detail
  • Experience in sports photography a plus
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to perform key responsibilities listed above at TD Ballpark
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays as required
