 Job DescriptionThe Wichita Thunder, minor league affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, are looking for a social media intern for the 2023-24 season!
Responsibilites:
- Capturing content at games and events
- Covering select away games across social platforms
- Updating Photoshop templates graphics of score updates/ game day information
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- A good attitude! You're here and willing to learn hands-on professional sports social media experience! This is an educational internship where you'll learn a lot, but it's also a space to have fun and be creative.
- Basic knowledge of identifying up-and-coming trends
- Basic knowledge of Adobe software, including Photoshop
- Applicants must possess an iPhone
- Reliable transportation and ability to be at vast majority of our 36 home games

From 1992 until December 2009, the Thunder played in the Britt Brown Arena located in the northern Wichita suburb of Park City.
