Job Description
The Coordinator of Live Experience will assist with the day-to-day planning and execution of pre, post and in-match ceremonies, promotions, activations, and East Plaza programming for all STL City SC matchdays. This position will report to the Director of Live Experience and will assist in the development and execution of the matchday presentation. Additionally, the Matchday Experience Coordinator will work closely with internal departments (content, community, merchandising, corporate partnerships, and ticketing) and the league on matchday stadium digital signage (LED, Ribbon boards, Videoboards, concourse, and hospitality spaces) creation, messaging, and rotational timing. This role will also coordinate thematic programming and messaging of digital signage dependent on internal club and MLS initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate, track and maintain digital signage (Videoboard, Field LED, Fascia LED, Premium spaces boards and IPTV) inventory, programming, and proof of performance reporting
- Assist the Live Experience Manager with scheduling and the operational execution of all on-field activations, coordinating live-experience workflow, and special events
- Coordinate and manage matchday props and temporary signage
- Coordinate live experience matchday fan facing in-stadium digital engagements (tagboard, enter-to-win, special experiences, polls, etc.)
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-3 years' experience in professional sports or in a college athletic department
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and leaderships skills - both written and interpersonal
- Ability to work independently and/or with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work long hours with physical activity (standing, walking, lifting)
- Flexibility in availability as hours will be non-traditional
- Creativity and ability to actively engage in brainstorm sessions
- Proficient with Microsoft office and can learn new software quickly
- Highly organized, resourceful, detailed-oriented, quick learner
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Prior game presentation, marketing, promotions, and/or sponsorship activations experience is a plus
