Are you a meticulous, detail-oriented, benefits or administrative professional? If so, look no further! The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans are seeking a Benefits & Legal Coordinator to join our Human Resources department. This individual will be responsible for administrative support related to our employee benefits plans, maintaining and organizing corporate contracts, as well as reporting and other projects as needed.


Employee Benefits & Wellness:

  • Coordinate and update benefit claim activities reports for the organization’s self-funded health insurance plan
  • Data entry and reporting of monthly benefit billing premiums for health, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as worker’s compensation claims
  • Update employee 401K contribution changes and rollovers with 401K providers
  • Assist with health insurance open enrollment period; educating employees on new and updated options, drafting employee communications, and assisting with follow-up to ensure enrollments are completed
  • Update and maintain employee personnel files and records
  • Assist Director with designing and implementing activities under the employee wellness program
  • Assist with general reporting needs and special projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Assist in management of contracts, including the general organization of, tracking of signatures, and calendaring applicable dates
  • General organization and management of league memorandums and policies, insurance policies, and litigation materials, including document review
  • Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems
  • Initial draft preparation of form corporate documents for review by in-house legal counsel

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Prior experience in a benefits or legal support position is required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with contract management software and DocuSign is preferred
  • Superior organization skills, detail-oriented, and ability to prioritize assigned tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact with all levels of the organization
  • Capacity to work a varied schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), relationship-building abilities, and attention to detail
  • An openness to learning, superior work ethic individually and in a group setting, positive attitude, and self-starter mentality
