Job Description
Job DescriptionRepublic FC’s primary focus is on initiatives in health & fitness, building safe places to play, and collaborating with nonprofit organizations to further their mission. The Community Investment Associate will work with the Director of Community Investment and Vice President of Community Investment to implement programming initiatives. We welcome candidates who are problem solvers, quick learners, critical thinkers, are intellectually curious, organized and interested in supporting our Club, our fans, and the greater Sacramento Region.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out our community donation program by reviewing, responding, and fulfilling in-kind donation requests to local nonprofit organizations and schools.
- Assist with the execution of Community Investment events, including but not limited to annual fundraisers, nonprofit summits, player appearances, school visits, volunteer engagement events, and community soccer clinics. Associate may be asked to attend select home games when appropriate.
- Engage in research and creative brainstorms to maximize partnerships with local nonprofit organizations, including but not limited to: theme nights, complimentary ticket distributions, soccer field/court refurbishments, and volunteer opportunities.
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Required:
- Attend scheduled community events, which may fall on nights and weekends
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable mode of transportation.
- Able to work independently and in a collaborative work environment with strong organizational, interpersonal, and planning skills.
- Preferred:
- Meaningful experience with a nonprofit organization through employment and/or volunteering
- Passion for Sacramento, soccer, and growing the sport
