Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH) was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through professional management, best practices, innovation, and investment.  DBH San Jose, the San Jose Giants Professional Baseball Club, is a Class A professional baseball team and have been an affiliate of the San Francisco Giants since 1988. San Jose has won seven California League Championships as a Giants affiliate (2021, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005, 2001 and 1998) and twelve overall. Excite Ballpark, the home of the San Jose Giants, first opened in 1942 and has seen nearly 8 million fans enter through its gates.

  • Implementing a comprehensive maintenance program to operate the ballpark at professional standards.
  • Ensuring stadium and team assets remain in ideal working condition. This includes maintaining an inventory of operational assets (ie, tables, chairs, pop-ups, equipment), protecting assets from unnecessary weathering, and budgeting to replace items near the end of their lifespan.
  • Delivering a clean, safe environment, including storage and back of house areas, for fans, staff, and players.
  • Coordinating all required inspections and maintenance contracts as needed (fire suppression system, fire extinguishers, inflatables, security system, etc)

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Degree in Sports Management or related field and/or 3+ years experience in an operations role for a professional sports team
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical and plumbing operations
  • Must have high attention to detail and take pride in quality of work
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Experience with permitting and code compliance preferred
  • Experience managing events in a sports or entertainment facility preferred
  • Flexibility to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Must be able to engage in strenuous activity including lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Capable of working in variable weather conditions including extreme heat and rain showers
