Job Description
Baltimore Orioles seek a Coordinator, Marketing Operations, reporting to the Director, Marketing & Advertising, to manage and coordinate the Orioles’ marketing operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate creative pipeline and deliverables from initial Marketing Request to final approval
- Coordinate all internal and external media traffic schedules
- Coordinate schedule, copywriting, and creative development of television and radio broadcast announcements
- Coordinate video and photography requests, as well as print production
- Develop schedule, copy, and creative for in-game television and radio broadcast announcements
- Manage broadcasting relationships with TV partner Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, as well as Orioles Radio Network including recruitment, affiliate relations, and contract fulfillment
- Act as liaison with MLB to receive broadcasting information to share with club personnel
- Day-to-day marketing support and project management
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business/Marketing or related field
- 2-3 years relevant experience
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices
- Proactive thinker with solutions-oriented mentality
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, prioritize and problem solve, and manage time effectively within a fast-paced environment
- Initiative to thrive in team atmosphere and individual basis
- Proficiency in Photoshop or similar photo editing software, Adobe Premiere, and Microsoft Office
- Working proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and understanding of email marketing software
