Job DescriptionThe Seasonal Field Operations Assistant is primarily responsible for the daily maintenance and upkeep of the baseball grounds.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Daily maintenance and upkeep of baseball grounds
- This includes but is not limited to mowing, fertilizing, aerating, topdressing, irrigation repair and maintenance, hand watering, mound and home plate repair, bullpen mound repair, skin and baseline maintenance, warning track cleanup and prep, and tarp pulls
- Assist in all aspects of turfgrass management at Greater Nevada Field, including the Front Entrance, Right Field Grass Berm and Baseball Mountain landscape
- Assist in preparation for all Aces games and outside events
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Candidate must be self-motivated and interested in pursuing a career in the sports industry
- Individual should have strong communication and people skills, a high attention to detail, and a tremendous desire to learn
- Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to perform labor intensive tasks
- Must respect the privacy of players and coaches
- High School/GED or higher.
- Completion of a satisfactory background check
