Job Description
The Business Operations Coordinator will primarily support the President of Business Operations in an executive assistant capacity and handle a broad range of duties involving organizational administration and coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Provide overall administrative support and serve as primary point of contact to President
- Provide administrative and other daily support to Executive Leadership team, as needed
- Provide executive support on event nights, including all Rockets home games and select third-party shows – including providing hospitality and concierge services to VIP guests
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays often based on event calendar
- Cater to the needs of key business clientele visiting, providing high-end hospitality from arrival to departure
- Coordinate, track, and code budget spending and invoices
- Route and track agreements and expiration dates for executive and legal departments
- Coordinate all travel needs for the business operations staff via contracted travel agency
- Anticipate needs and proactively manage executive calendars, coordinating meetings, appointments, lunches, and dinners
- Plan and coordinate agenda for departmental meetings, recording, and distributing minutes/notes as needed
- Prepare and schedule presentations for speaking and community engagement events
- Maintain the overall organization of the executive office environment including but not limited to storage space, common area, mail sorting, and ordering of office supplies
- Answer, screen, and direct calls and emails
- Serve as liaison with Landry’s corporate office and the NBA
- Responsible for executive event planning
- Assist as needed for projects and special assignments

Qualifications Required
- Experience in hospitality or sports and entertainment, a plus
- Previous work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role
- Excellent MS Office knowledge
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and time management skills
- Highly organized and ability to take initiative and multi-task
- Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor
- Demonstrated proficiency in exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality while exhibiting strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- College degree preferred
