Job Description
Job DescriptionThe intern will assist the Marketing Department with the planning and implementation of all Fan Zone and CBJ Mobile Tour summer events including data collection and data input. These events may include but not limited to: NHL Draft Party, Dublin Irish Festival, 5th Line Fest, Food Truck Festival, and Jazz and Rib Fest.
Duties and tasks:
- Help conduct CBJ Mobile Tour community events and special projects, including pre-planning, event execution, and event summary
- Support the ideation and implementation of activations for the Blue Jackets events at Nationwide Arena. This includes, but not limited to, the Fan Zone, NHL Draft Party, and ticket sales Open House events
- Create event outlines, timelines, layouts, maps, and various other planning documents for all events
- Aid in the organization’s fan acquisition strategy through executions that drive data collection
- Maintain an updated inventory of all marketing assets for off-season events as well as promotional inventory
- Utilize CBJ vehicles that we will be using for the Mobile Tour including event load and unload, and ensuring vehicles are properly maintained
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Must be enrolled in college, sophomore or above preferred, sports management, marketing, business, or related major is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- High attention to details
- Ability to address, adapt to, and overcome challenges in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Able and willing to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be available during weekends and holidays
- Valid driver’s license required
- Proof of COVID vaccination required.
