 Job Description

  • Key to Game Plan’s success is supporting and growing the ability of our advisors to deliver world class services to athletes
    • Identify gaps in the current “advisor toolkit” and ensure processes are in place to develop the tools needed to fill those gaps
    • Track and analyze regional budgets
    • Track regional Game Plan events and develop alignment strategy
    • Support advisors in the development of regional events
    • Ensure Athlete Service Managers in key regions receive necessary Game Plan updates
    • Support the Manager, Game Plan and Canada-wide multi-stakeholder teams made up of advisors, funding partners, third parties (university research directors, contractors, content experts) in the development and monitoring of Game Plan’s core curriculum

Content creation and delivery

  • Support the development and management of content for the Game Plan website and social media platforms.
  • Coordinate the work of graphic designers and translators to ensure all Game Plan materials are bilingual (EN/FR).

National event management

  • Manage the execution of ongoing national events, such as Game Plan Day in Canada, Financial Simulations, mentorship programs, and other Game Plan partner activations. Role will include, but isn’t limited to:
    • Ensure timely distribution of information
    • Collection and initial review of applications
    • Event/program budget management
    • Media relations
    • Advisor and partner coordination
    • Event reporting

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently is required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; English/French bilingualism, an asset
  • Self-starter and ability to work effectively on a team or independently
  • Budget and event management skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with various internal and external colleagues/stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Canadian sport system, an asset
  • Ability to manage website content: Contentful, Angular & Heroku
