Job Description
The Corporate Partnerships Sales Intern provides support to the corporate partnerships’ sales team, prospects new opportunities, assists with sales support functions (collateral and leads), and represents the organization in a positive manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist corporate partnerships sales team with essential tasks as requested by:
- Prospecting new potential clients and setting up calls/meetings.
- Generating new leads by business category and individual stakeholders.
- Researching industry and market trends and identifying new opportunities to engage potential partners
- Collecting contact information for potential key decision makers
- Attending prospect and current client meetings
- Developing sales presentations and collateral
Assist with select partnership activation and events including all home games by:
- Assisting with activation set ups and fulfillment
- Provide digital creative reporting and proof of performance
- Hosting suite(s)
Qualifications Required
- Experience with professional/college/ or minor league teams in a sports marketing/sponsorship/sales role
- Must be able to handle confidential privileged and/or sensitive information carefully and with sensitivity
- Experience with CRM systems
- Service oriented and committed to teamwork
- Self-motivated with passion for sales and relationship building
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Detail oriented with strong prioritization and organization skills
