Job Description
- Collaborate with the Community Relations Manager and First Tee Provincial Chapter staff to assist with outreach and onboarding of RBC Community Junior Golf sites, and subsequent community building in and around each market
- Liaise with RBC to ensure timely and efficient reporting of RBC Community Junior Golf program updates throughout the year
- Assist with the implementation and delivery of special events such as community activations, try-it sessions, fundraising events and any other initiatives as required;
- Coordinate the ordering of marketing collateral, gifting, and supplies as required, specific to RBC Community Junior Golf
- Assist with data maintenance, tracking, and program reporting;
- Support First Tee – Canada chapter staff with additional duties as they arise.
- Collaborate with Provincial Associations to onboard Youth on Course facilities;
- Provide customer service to golf facilities and members participating in the Youth on Course program
- Ensure timely submission and accurate processing of Youth on Course subsidy payments to courses
- Liaise with Golf Canada Membership team and Youth on Course HQ for any system related concerns
- Assist with program reporting and data collection
- Identify and implement new ways to market the Youth on Course program to junior golfers in Canada
- Support fundraising initiatives by assisting with 100 Hole Hike fundraising events.
Qualifications Required
- Post Secondary Degree in Sport Business/Management or related field is considered an asset
- Knowledge of the Canadian Golf industry is considered an asset
- Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated and enthusiastic individual with interest in impacting youth through sport
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills
- Bilingualism (French and English) considered an asset
- Ability to travel and work overtime as needed.
