The Fayetteville Woodpeckers are seeking an In-Game Emcee for the 2022 season.  This position will be a part of the entertainment team and will announce all sponsored elements and on-field contests during Woodpeckers’ home games.  An ideal candidate would have experience talking in front of large crowds and an energetic and outgoing personality.  This is a part-time, seasonal position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Announce sponsored elements and on-field contests during home games
  • Find appropriate contestants in a timely manner to play in-between inning games
  • Oversee and lead the Promotional Team, making sure all team members are in their appropriate spots during in-game elements
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to talk in front of large crowds
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests and all levels of management in the organization
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Must be a self-starter, problem solver and have decision-making ability
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

  • A positive attitude
  • Must be reliable and exhibit commitment to meeting both the work schedule and job requirements
  • Must be willing and able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
