Job Description
The Digital Content Producer plays a key role in supporting brand, content, and social media activity for the Canadian Premier League “CPL”, the Canadian Soccer Business “CSB” and across all our properties. The Digital Content Producer will work closely with the content and media team across various channels and content platforms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and willing to roll up their sleeves to assist the CPL/CSB team in realizing their vision.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create compelling brand campaign content & digital video content for CPL channels that drives engagement as well as traffic to our website and social platforms.
- Produce, shoot, write, edit, and package a range of video/photo/digital/social assets and promotional materials.
- Working with the Brand Team, Content Team and Partnership Team, to pitch and brainstorm new content and marketing ideas, including but not limited to: social, partnerships, product launches and more.
- The ability to creatively pitch & lead brainstorms for new content and partnership series and digital programs.
- Constantly checking for what is trending in the digital social sphere that we can jump onto implementing into our own creative strategies and taking note of what our competitors are doing on their social channels— both in terms of successes and failures.
- Working with Communications Team and Partnerships Team to recommend opportunities and create pitches & briefs to execute them.
- Work with agencies on shooting, editing, packaging and final asset delivery.
- Determining new initiatives to create, develop, execute as part of the overall content strategy.
- Assists the creative team with edits to digital assets (graphics, videos, photos, email, landing pages, content downloads) inside WordPress, or other web marketing tools as well as Adobe Creative Cloud.
Qualifications Required
- Expert knowledge of video/photo producing/editing and storytelling
- Expertise in all social and digital platforms
- Capable of supporting editorial content campaigns
- Excellent writing, editorial and project management skills
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in content producer/editor with proven experience in video/photo storytelling
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is an asset
- Experience with digital audio production is an asset
