The Director, Entertainment leads the coordination and execution of the live in-game production and live entertainment for the Miami Dolphins, Miami Open tennis tournament, Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, and international soccer events held at Hard Rock Stadium. The Entertainment and Events team is responsible for the oversight and execution of all live event productions at Hard Rock Stadium. They do this by creating the overall event concept and design, developing the execution plan and timeline, and establishing and overseeing the budget.

Responsibilities:

Miami Dolphins

  • Serve as Game Day Field Producer
  • Design and oversee live entertainment including the pregame and halftime shows, and live partner and sales integration
  • Assist Executive Producer with script management
  • Oversee all part time staff and live performers for game day, including the cheerleading team, mascot performer and flag runners
  • Manage vendor and talent relationships
  • Manage game day budget lines
  • Collaborate with various departments to meet company-wide goals:
    • Marketing
    • Partnerships
    • Ticket Sales & Membership Service
    • Stadium Operations
    • Community Relations and Miami Dolphins Foundation
  • Supervise multiple full time and part time staff members

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of prior professional sports event production experience required.
  • Be a collaborative, passionate, results-oriented person who wants to make a difference.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic company.
  • Prior event planning experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to demonstrate initiative, solve problems, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
