 Job Description

  • Proactive approach to sales initiatives to reach sales goals via individual, fundraisers, group, flex, and season sales
  • Focus on selling group ticket inventory to Greater Pittsburgh area non-profits to sell tickets for their fundraising events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with each reassigned and new account to upgrade/renew and collect referrals
  • Attend youth soccer club/league meetings, chamber of commerce meetings and networking events, and other events as needed
  • Provide prompt, thorough responses to all inbound fan communications, keeping customer service a top priority
  • Maintain accurate, detailed notes regarding to sales activity within the CRM
  • Assist with games and events with the goal of cultivating new sales and prospects
  • Implement donation system including fulfillment, packaging, and coordinating the pickup and/or drop-off of donation requests
  • Foster relationships and partnerships with area non-profit organizations
  • Coordinate mascot and player appearances in the Greater Pittsburgh area
  • Participate and contribute to team meetings and trainings
  • Provide all fans of Highmark Stadium with a once in a lifetime experience
  • Provide weekly activity summaries as outlined by the Director of Ticket Sales
  • Meet all predetermined activity and sales goals
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Ticket Sales

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Passion for sales, sports, and creativity
  • Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business management, marketing, or related field
  • 1-2 years of sales experience preferred but not required
  • 1-3 years of community engagement experience preferred but not required
  • Professional sports internship experience preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle heavy outbound phone and contact volume
  • Ability to multitask, while being able to provide reports and summaries as directed
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays as necessary
  • Strong ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Open to learning/training
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient abilities with Microsoft Office
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach to customers and contacts to convey a positive organization image
  • Desire to be a sales industry leader
