Job DescriptionThe Lake County Captains are looking for Game Day Production Assistants to work with our team to broadcast all Captains games during the 2023 season. The Captains, for the first time, will be featured on MILB.TV and have all new equipment to live stream every home game. The broadcast director will be responsible for the setup, implementation, and takedown of all home broadcasts.
Broadcasting platform: VMIX
Camera setup: Custom PC for broadcast, 4-6 camera setup in 720p60 using wireless transmitters to outfield camera & 3B camera, instant replays, graphics overlay, play-by-play audio overlay
Position: Seasonal (April-September)
Pay: Based on Experience, game days only
Hours: 4-5 hours per game day
Reports to: Broadcast Director
Duties Include:
- Operate cameras and capture in-game shots
- Take direction from manager and communicate shots
- Assist with setup of hardware each game & takedown
- Work with small staff (3-5 employees) including other production assistants, graphics manager and
- Creating highlight packages post-game
- Coordinate In-game promotion activities to big screen/broadcast
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Experience/knowledge with OBS/VMIX software
- Experience with live broadcasting sports
- Experience working with broadcast staff to produce amazing broadcast
