Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Associate with the Sales Department. This position will be responsible for selling a full menu of season memberships, group tickets, partial plans, and suite rentals for the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Arizona Rattlers, and Footprint Center concerts and events. During their time with the Sales Associate team, the top team members will have the opportunity to get promoted to one of our senior-level Account Executive teams to continue to establish themselves among the best in the sports industry.
Suns Legacy Partners (SLP) strives for a work culture that affords employees flexibility, autonomy, and trust. All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona.
What Will You Do:
- Focus on selling of new group outings, suite rentals, and multi-game plans (based on availability and inventory)
- Proactively create opportunities for new business through outbound phone calls, messages and other forms of cold outreach
- Effectively follow up with clients and prospective clients in order to build relationships to help provide repeat business and to meet excellent customer service requirements
- Hit and exceed weekly metrics
- Hit monthly and yearly sales goals
- Prospect and engage businesses and organizations across Arizona
- Manage sales pipeline to efficiently call through leads regarding the Suns, Mercury, Rattlers, and Footprint Center concerts and events
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
Qualifications Required
- Ability to nurture and grow your sales pipeline to develop a strategy for long-term sustained success
- Understanding of how to solve business goals and objectives and maintain a solution-based approach when consulting with a business or consumer
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment
- Time management skills that help you sell full menu for the Suns, Mercury, Rattlers, and Footprint Center concerts and events
- Understand how to effectively work in a team-based environment
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of an organization
- Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong desire to start a career in the revenue generating side of the sports industry
