 Job Description

  • Maintain records of all  donations
  • Execute all charitable jersey and memorabilia auctions using MiLB Auctions Platform
  • Coordinate Volunteer Opportunities for the Rumble Ponies’ Front Office Staff
  • Create New and Develop Existing Community Initiatives
  • Lead on Event Promotions with Charitable Tie-Ins including, but not limited to: Military Appreciation Nights, Sock out Cancer, We Care Wednesdays, 50/50 and many other community components.
  • Work directly with the Ticket sales and Sponsorship departments to support sales through community relations programming and partnership opportunities within the private sector
  • Assist in Rumble Ponies Charities’ Fundraising Events
  • Coordinate Player Autograph Sessions when needed
  • Coordinate Charitable Player Appearances Throughout the Rumble Ponies Season
  • Coordinate Annual Youth Baseball Clinics including but not limited to: Play Ball Weekend
  • Coordinate all MLB community initiatives
  • Manage two 2 employees,  Promotions & Community Relations Coordinator (seasonal)  and the Mascot (year round, part time)
  • Other Duties as Assigned by the General Manager, or President

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Willingness to work longer hours on home dates during the baseball season to include nights and weekends
  • Demonstrated ability to work with all personality types at the staff, management and client levels
  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Word, Excel and PowerPoint or other presentation software
  • Proven track record of successful event planning and fundraising skills
  • Ability to drive a multi-passenger vehicle to various community events
  • Some light to moderate lifting of tables, chairs, miscellaneous equipment necessary for community relations events inside and outside the ballpark.
  • Excellent listening, negotiating, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
