Job Description
It is the Director’s responsibility to know everything within each segment of the ticket office. The Director of Ticket Sales will need to familiarize themselves with the ticket system and execute all operations associated with the ticket selling experience. The Director of Ticket Sales will work hand-in-hand with team management regarding promotions, special nights and extra events.
Responsibilities:
- Renew existing customers and develop new contacts
- Oversee a staff of 2-3 Account Executives
- Create, develop and sell new sources of inventory
- Develop and implement sales strategies
- Manage all programs for group and suite sales
- Prepare weekly group sales reports
- Keeping up-to-date on successful ticketing and sales technique
Qualifications Required
- Possess strong leadership capabilities
- Have the ability to manage multiple projects & tasks
- Have strong analytical skills
- Be very energetic and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be a strategic thinker that is also detail and results oriented
- Be a self starter with ability to work independently and at the same time a team player
- Have a high degree of personal integrity
- Have a minimum of 2-4 years of sales experience
