We are looking for people who relate to others, can put a smile on someone’s face and are able to interact at all levels of our organization. Successful candidates will be team-minded and care about going the extra mile for our guests. These team members should be outgoing, entertaining storytellers who are comfortable in front of fans in an interactive environment.
Members of the bartending staff will be cross trained and rotate throughout the different beer and wine locations inside Flathead Field.
Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Greet each guest with a warm welcome and treat them with courtesy and respect
- Stock bar with beer, wine, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, straws, etc.
- Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Make beverage recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and other concession function and services
- Take beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in a consistent manner
- Properly record all transaction via the point-of-sale system
- Collect proper payment method; process credit cards or determine correct change for guests
- Adhere to responsible consumption guidelines for all guests
- Restock bar inventory and supplies
- Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issue to F&B Manager
- Perform clean-up duties to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning all equipment
- Adhere to all company alcohol service policies and procedures
Qualifications Required
- Be available for the majority of the season (May-September 8)
- Be punctual, able to follow directions, and team-minded
- Be comfortable engaging with guests of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be comfortable dealing with large crowds
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and co-workers
- TIPS Certified by Opening Day
- Possess basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
- Possess basic math skills and can handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
