Job Description
- Provide logistical support to the high-performance discipline staff in respect to the on-going management of national team reporting and tracking. This includes ensuring that discipline specific athlete performance and reporting charts are managed in a timely fashion; assist high performance staff leads in presentation preparations for external funding and programming bodies; communication with national team athletes, coaches and judges as directed.
- Assisting high performance discipline staff with logistics for all National Team, Hopefuls and Next Gen training camps (including, but not limited to, accommodation booking, training schedules, registrations, camp expert support).
- Manage the national team database tracking needs for all disciplines.
- Manage annual national team outfitting and tracking requirements and engage with suppliers and sponsors for distribution and sizing needs.
- Where directed, provide support for national team competitions in Canada or abroad, including logistical, administrative, operational and on-site support to the discipline leads and National Events manager for scheduled in-person and “virtual” National competitions.
- On-going financial tracking and management of assigned programming.
Qualifications Required
- A degree/diploma in Sport Administration or similar, or equivalent work experience.
- Ideally, 1-3 years of experience working in a member service environment that is multifaceted, fast paced and requires effective management of time sensitive tasks.
- Knowledge of or experience in a national sport environment is an asset; knowledge of the sport of Gymnastics is an additional asset.
- Versatility with new technologies is an additional asset.
- Experience working with database management is an additional asset
- Bilingualism is a significant asset.
